Rather than introducing a conventional, imposing building volume that disrupts the established neighborhood fabric, the proposal conceives the architecture as an extension of the existing green park landscape. By lifting and warping the terrain, the design establishes an undulating, hyperbolic surface that blurs the boundary between natural parkland and built environment.
The majority of the community programming is housed beneath this continuous landscape roof. This semi-subterranean approach preserves public open space while creating a well-insulated, energy-efficient structure underneath. The dynamic hyperbolic geometry functions as a visual and physical bridge across the site, naturally guiding pedestrian movement from one boundary to the other continuously linking neighborhood.
Distinctive, lifted entrance portals emerge from beneath the lifted ground plane. These entryways provide intuitive access points that directly connect surrounding street corridors and park pathways into the building's interior. The sloped plane elevates to create generous, glazed facade openings, drawing natural daylight deep into the subterranean community spaces while maintaining uninterrupted panoramic views across the green landscape.
